My "disaster" didn't happen at one instance...it has been the slow and methodical devouring of my manger scene over the course of three years by the same dog. All that I have remaining is the actual manger, one angel and a cow with it's face chewed off. That same dog also ate the steeple off my ceramic church that is a family heirloom and can't be replaced. Somehow, the dog's still around, though.
