Postal Rates Projected to Increase Yet Again
As you probably are aware, new rates went into effect January 9th, increasing the cost of first-rate postage to 39 cents. Overall, the United States Postal Service enacted a rate of increase of 5.4% (across the board) and, believe it or not, they’re projecting an even greater increase in early 2007. An analysis of your print and postal budgets, goals and objectives should be reviewed and planned accordingly. Wouldn’t now be a good time to consider an electronic communications and marketing program? We’ve got brand new software to make this effective and affordable. Ask us about it. Depending on your objectives, it may be wise to pursue e-marketing as a more cost-effective option to direct mail.

Paper Pricing
In a constantly changing industry, paper pricing will be another factor for consideration while you plan your marketing and communications budget. With many paper mills limiting their capacity and natural gas pricing continuing to effect all industries (and your personal pocketbook), you can expect the increased pricing to be passed along to printers. And although transportation costs have steadied recently, they’re yet another variable that may change (due to economic and political conditions) and affect future paper costs. With over 70 years of collective graphic design experience, be assured that our senior designers are looking to minimize your costs when it comes to the selection of paper we utilize without compromising your end product. We’ll always put our expertise to work for you.
