"ADDY" A BOY...
TRIAD Communications, Inc., was honored this past Friday evening with two silver ADDY Awards at the Advertising Federation’s annual event.
TRIAD received Awards in the Collateral Material category for Akron Children’s Hospital “Horse of A Different Color" brochure and in Public Service, Collateral Category for Trinity Cathedral’s 2005 Annual Report. “First and foremost a piece has to be successful for the client,” said Rick Krochka, president of TRIAD Communications, Inc. “If the judges feel it deserves an Addy Award, well, that’s just 'icing on the cake'. It’s rewarding and fun for the creative team.” The ADDY Awards, judged by three nationally recognized industry experts, honors excellence in advertising in 19 categories and signifies the highest creative standards in the industry. The two silver Addy's come on the heels of two Service Industry Advertising Awards (SIAA) TRIAD received earlier this month. TRIAD has won more than 50 industry awards in the advertising and marketing industries since 1994.

Recycling Matters
Ever aware of our environment and our limited natural resources, TRIAD produces not only effective marketing and advertising products, but environmentally friendly pieces as well. As new paper products are made from scrap paper, it not only makes sense, it’s the right thing to do.
A prime example is The Sisters of St. Dominic Capital Campaign brochure that TRIAD produced for their recently launched capital campaign. As an environmentally conscious group, the Sisters of St. Dominic is dedicated to sustainability. All of the paper in the brochure was manufactured from recycled materials. The use of the recycled paper saved three trees, 489 gallons of water, 663 BTU’s of energy, 52 pounds of landfill, 101 pounds of atmospheric emission.
