Dalton’s Furniture

Dalton’s kicked off the campaign with a “Business after Hours” event and the anniversary was highlighted with sales specials for 45 consecutive days.

Email Marketing to Your Current Clients & Prospects

With the United States Postal Service increase in postage (5.4% across the board and an additional increase expected in early 2007) and the surge in transportation costs that has increased paper and printing costs, there is no better time to consider an electronic communications marketing program.

Depending on your objectives, it may be advantageous to pursue an Email Newsletter as a cost-effective option. A great way to stay top-of-mind with current clients and drive traffic to your website, it’s a fresh approach for relevant industry news.

A vast majority of the general public uses email. A report by eMarketer puts email penetration at an all-time high of 91% among internet users between the ages of 18- 64. With broadband access now penetrating most rural areas, an e-mail newsletter is a perfect addition to any comprehensive advertising, marketing or public relations campaign.

“Mum's" the Word...
Just a reminder that May 14
is Mother’s Day.

Mother’s Day can be traced to the spring celebrations of ancient Greece in honor of Rhea, the Mother of the Gods. During the 1600s, England celebrated a day called "Mothering Sunday". On Mothering Sunday, servants would have the day off and were encouraged to return home and spend the day with their mothers. A special cake, called the mothering cake, was often brought along to provide a festive touch.

In the U.S., Mother's Day was first suggested in 1872 by Julia Ward Howe (who wrote the words to the Battle Hymn of the Republic) as a day dedicated to peace. The concept was furthered in 1907 when Ana Jarvis, from Philadelphia, began a campaign to establish a national Mother's Day.
