DESSERT FIT FOR A…UH... MARDI GRAS

The king cake is a colorful cake that is popular for Mardi Gras celebrations. Traditionally, a plastic or ceramic baby figure less than 1 inch tall is inserted in the cake for the Mardi Gras celebration. When the cake is cut, the person finding the token is said to be blessed with good luck throughout the following year. In some families, the lucky person is also designated to make the king cake for the next Mardi Gras or host the next Mardi Gras party. This cake is also known as Twelfth Night Cake. Some local bakeries make these cakes or here's a recipe to try:

PUPPY LOVE
We’ve all experienced our own version of puppy love at one time or another, but two TRIAD employees are experiencing the real thing for the new pooches they’ve welcomed into their homes recently. “Capone” and “Maggie” are the new additions to the Price and Schrader households.

For a fourth consecutive year, TRIAD Communications, Inc., was honored at the Fourth Annual Service Industry Advertising Awards (SIAA). The SIAA Awards specifically recognize the achievements of a variety of 11 different service industries in 25 different categories.

KROCHKA SERVES AS JURIST FOR NATIONAL COMPETITION
Rick Krochka, President of TRIAD Communications, Inc., was selected as a judge for the 2006 Business Professionals of America Region 10 Competition held January 30th at Cuyahoga Falls High School. The organization is a national co-curricular career and technical organization for college, high school and middle school students preparing for careers in business and information technology focusing on leadership, academic, citizenship, and technological skills.

Most long-distance telephone customers can claim a telephone tax refund ranging from $30 to $60.
