Become a Social e-Butterfly

Social network websites, commonly used for meeting new friends, finding love or even chatting about your favorite sports team, can be a great place to spread the word about your company or product. Once you find the right audience, a quick mention of your company in ‘casual’ conversation can significantly increase visits to your site. Also, the more links to your website the higher the search engine ranking.

Wonder if social networking is the right fit for your company—set up a consultation with
Todd Bertsch, Interactive Media Director, today!

Broadway Joe

Okay, so it’s Broad Boulevard—and his last name is Nemeth—but he’s still a superstar to us! Meet Joe Nemeth, our new Art Director who’ll be “quarterbacking” our print marketing and design efforts here at TRIAD. Joe holds a BFA in Graphic Design from The University of Akron and had previously been an A.D. at Malone Advertising for 8 years. When he’s not rollin’ out a new identity system or ad campaign at TRIAD, you can find him at home—rockin’ out on his guitar.

Look...Up in the Sky!

The annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, which ushers in the holiday shopping season each year, began from what we’d refer to today as event marketing. In 1924, employees from Macy's flagship store on 34th Street marched to work dressed in vibrant costumes. There were floats, bands and live animals borrowed from the Central Park Zoo (large balloons produced by Akron’s own Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company replaced the live animals in 1927) and of course, Santa Claus. With an audience of over a quarter of a million people, the parade was such a success that Macy's declared it would become an annual event.

And the (re)Brand Plays On

PBS 45 & 49 has become Western Reserve Public Media! The creative team at TRIAD worked closely with the folks at our favorite local PBS station to create a new logo and brand for the organization which more closely reflects the station’s geographical coverage and history of the region. Lots of great information on the station, the rationale for the change and the history of the Western Reserve itself can be found at WesternReservePublicMedia.org/newname.htm.
