Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio – The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Western Reserve was recently presented with the prestigious Gold Award at the 23rd annual Marketing and Communications (MAC) Awards in Atlanta, GA. The award was given in the Interactive/Online Media category for the wrkids.org website, which was designed and developed by TRIAD Communications.
Every year, more than 4,300 Boys & Girls Clubs across the country compete for MAC Award honors. The Gold Award represents the top honor in each category.
The website redesign provided the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Western Reserve with a visually appealing site that is user friendly and can be easily updated and maintained by the staff using content management system (CMS) technology. The TRIAD interactive team incorporated additional features such as a custom flash photo gallery, a kid’s area, and an online contribution page.
“This award reflects the exceptional design and development talent of our interactive team,” said Rick Krochka, president of TRIAD Communications. “As part of our community outreach efforts for 2008, TRIAD was pleased to provide a large portion of our services pro bono to Boys & Girls Clubs of the Western Reserve for this project.”
