TRIAD Presented With W3 Award

Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio – TRIAD Communications, Inc. has received a Silver W3 Award for the Cuyahoga Valley National Park Association ParkShares program Web site, www.parkshares.org.

 

ParkShares.org wins W3 AwardThe innovative Web site and uniquely green sponsorship opportunity provides park enthusiasts a way to support the environmental preservation, education and appreciation efforts of the CVNPA. Sponsors can select a unique acre among the 33,000 acres of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park and sponsor it for one year. Sponsorships include a personal Web page that can be populated with photos, an online journal, and pages can be shared with friends or family. Sponsors may also purchase acres for gifts, or in memory or in honor of a loved one. Certificates of ownership can be customized and printed through the site as well.

“ParkShares is one of the most unique philanthropic efforts of its kind,” said Rick Krochka, president of TRIAD Communications, Inc. “It provides sponsors an opportunity to actively participate in the preservation of the park through a completely ‘green’ method. This really takes online giving to a new level by seamlessly combining a social media component.” Krochka continued, “We are proud to have assisted in the launch of the program and are honored by this international recognition of our team’s creative talents. We’re especially excited to see how the ParkShares program performs as a philanthropic vehicle during the holiday season.”

The W3 Awards is an international Web competition that honors creative excellence in Web site design, video production and online marketing. Companies and agencies of all sizes, from Fortune 500 corporations to small private firms, are eligible to enter. Winners were selected from over 3,000 entries from top companies and agencies worldwide.
