In a Flash

Flash technologyStatistics show that 96% of Internet users currently utilize Flash animation. With numbers like that, its no wonder more and more web sites are using some sort of Flash technology. These sites tend to have a greater energy and excitement about them and often visually explain a new product rather than using static graphics or text. One example of a site that uses Flash technology is checkmytires.com, which visually explains a new car alert system that notifies a driver when the tires are low. If you’re interested in adding flash technology to your site, contact TRIAD’s Interactive Media Director, Todd Bertsch todd.bertsch@triadadv.com.

Did you know?

Protecting data...
We know you’re not ‘MacGyver’ but…. In an emergency situation, where perhaps you forgot your flash drive, here are some helpful hints for quick file storage…

Use your iPod for quick file storage and transport. Simply launch iTunes, select your iPod in the Devices list and then from the Summary Tab select “Enable Disk Use.” Now you can copy files to your iPod.

A flash memory card from a digital camera can also store files. Connect the card to your Mac with a card reader and copy any type of files, then transport them easily.

A FireWire/USB 2.0 External Drive case will allow you to reclaim a hard drive from an old Mac and use it as a convenient external portable storage device. Your laptop will also help you to move large files to another Mac by attaching a FireWire cable between the laptop and the "targeted" Mac.

For help with any of these storage options, contact TRIAD’s Chris Price christopher.price@triadadv.com

Seeing red? feeling blue? tickled pink?

Red carIts been suggested for many years that red cars are more likely to get pulled over for speeding than any other color car. While there’s no proof on this subject (unless you happen to be a driver of a red car with several tickets to your name?) it’s known that bright colors do tend to attract more attention.

When selecting corporate colors to best represent your company or organization, it’s important to consider the significance of certain colors. TRIAD’s skilled designers are always on top of the current color trends and available to help with your color selection.
